Most people never think about the water their laundry is washed in. We think about it constantly.
Bali's water supply is hard, mineral-heavy, and carries sediment and chlorine that you can't see but your clothes absolutely feel. Over time, untreated water is one of the main reasons activewear loses its stretch, lingerie fibres break down, and colours fade faster than they should.
It's not the washing that damages clothes — it's what's in the water.
We built ArtoWash around solving that.
Before a single item goes into one of our Electrolux commercial machines, your clothes' wash water passes through four stages of industrial filtration.
Two Prima industrial filter tanks remove mud, sand, sediment, and suspended particles. Auto-digital backwash keeps them self-cleaning and consistent, wash after wash, all day.
Hard water is the enemy of fabric. We strip out calcium and magnesium so fibres stay soft and detergents actually work — instead of fighting mineral residue.
Our 3-stage RO unit brings water to drinking standard — removing dissolved contaminants, chlorine, and bacteria down to the molecular level.
A final pass inside our commercial Electrolux machines — one last layer to ensure nothing unwanted ever reaches your garments.
Filtered water isn't just cleaner — it changes what a wash can actually do.
Detergent performs better in pure water, which means more effective cleaning with less chemical residue left behind in fabric. Softened water means fibres aren't fighting against mineral deposits with every cycle. And water free from bacteria and chlorine means your activewear comes back genuinely fresh — not just surface clean.
Technical fabrics stay technical. Elastane holds its stretch. Sweat residue and odour-causing bacteria are removed — not masked.
Fine fibres aren't exposed to the particles and harshness that degrade them invisibly over time.
Colours stay brighter, fabrics stay softer, and clothes simply last longer.
When you hand something to ArtoWash — whether it's your favourite sports kit, a delicate piece you've had for years, or the clothes you wear closest to your skin — you're not just trusting us with the wash. You're trusting us with something that matters to you.
That's why we built a system most hotels in Bali don't have, in a laundry that does. Not because it was the easy choice, but because anything less wouldn't be good enough for the clothes you actually care about.
This is what "because your clothes deserve it" means in practice.
