Most people never think about the water their laundry is washed in. We think about it constantly.
Bali’s water supply is hard, mineral-heavy, and carries sediment and chlorine that you can’t see but your clothes absolutely feel. Over time, untreated water is one of the main reasons activewear loses its stretch, lingerie fibres break down, and colours fade faster than they should.
It’s not the washing that damages clothes — it’s what’s in the water.
We built ArtoWash around solving that.
HOW OUR FILTERED-WATER LAUNDRY WORKS
Before a single item goes into one of our Electrolux commercial machines, your clothes’ wash water passes through four stages of industrial filtration.
Stage 1 — Multimedia Pre-Filtration
Two Prima industrial multimedia filter tanks remove mud, sand, sediment and suspended particles before water ever reaches a machine. Automatic digital backwash keeps them self-cleaning, so the first wash of the day and the last are filtered to the same standard.
Stage 2 — Salt Softening
Hard water is the enemy of fabric. We strip out calcium and magnesium so fibres stay soft and detergents actually work — instead of fighting mineral residue.
Stage 3 — Reverse Osmosis
Our 3-stage RO unit brings water to drinking standard — removing dissolved contaminants, chlorine, and bacteria down to the molecular level.
Stage 4 — Electrolux Internal Filtration
A final pass inside our commercial Electrolux machines — one last layer to ensure nothing unwanted ever reaches your garments.
